Located in the center of Siskiyou County, there is no shortage of great backcountry skiing here. I-5 practically runs right through town, which makes it easily accessible year round. No matter what your skill or experience level there is something here in Mt. Shasta for you.

Skiing at the Mt. Shasta Ski Park is sure to please, with 425 skiable acres and over 30 runs there is something for everyone. Want some cliff lines? Head on over to Eagle Flight or Sticks and Stones to get the adrenaline going a  little bit. If you like the terrain park or halfpipe then your in luck because the Revolution Terrain Park is all about throwing it down. Towering high over town at 14,162 Feet, you can nearly feel its presence. Drive a mere 12 miles from town and you’re at Bunny Flats, elevation 6,800 feet. From Bunny Flats there are many places to go to get some great turns. With just a short amount of hiking, or snowmobiling you can access all sorts of amazing terrain. Some hot spots up there are the old T-bar line, Green Butte, Panther Meadows, and Grey Butte.

The Eddies are a backcountry extremists dream come true. Up in The Eddies are tens of thousands of acres of the worlds most pristine mountain faces and bowls that are more than worth every step of the hike.
